Episodes in Human Stupidity

Wow. I often times will say “humans are such stupid creatures” in response to the moronic behavior of various individuals. But today just took the cake I think. According to the Los Angeles Times gay men have been getting stoned out of their minds on “party drugs” and then having unprotected sex. Nothing new, right? Well in this case gay men who are HIV-Negative have been popping the AIDS drug Tenofovir, or “taking a T”, in some to prevent HIV infection just in case in their drugged-up stupor they forget to ask the HIV status of the random guy they are having sex with. Sounds just like it is the morning after pill for homosexuals. Too bad it is just a placebo at this point. I wonder what direction the HIV infection rate in homosexuals is going to go because of this.
