Are Gay Unions Generally More Happy than Heterosexual Ones?

According to an article in Psychology Today, a recent survey compares the relationships of homosexual and heterosexual couples. While the article is anecdotal, the survey’s results seem to indicate that homosexuals seem to experience a better happiness in their relationships due to not conforming to traditional gender roles like heterosexual couples that were surveyed had a tendency to do after marriage. In other words they tended to split household duties evenly even if there was a disparity in incomes.
