Ann Coulter Strikes Again at Indiana University
Posted on | February 25, 2006

Ann Coulter, who recently was found to have committed voter fraud in her new home state of Florida, was up to her usual antics Thursday night when she spoke at Indiana University/ As she always seems to do, Miss Coulter left her civility at home. Coulter, who has authored such books like How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) and Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right, was there to present a lecture entitled "Liberals Are Wrong About Everything". Ironic title given that she apparently was wrong about where she now lives when she registered to vote in Florida when she lied in claiming her realtor’s address as hers on the form and thus voted in the wrong location which is a felony in that state. Being the lightning rod that she is for both a fervent following and dissent, the 3,200 capacity IU auditorium was filled with about 2,500 people but many were ejected for taking on the conservative lecture and many simply just walked out.
In usual form Coulter resorted to racism and name calling. When ushers were not fast enough for her tastes in removing disruptive individuals, she made statements like "You guys are doing a great job. I guess they did hire Democrats as ushers."One student dressed in a white sheet and blonde wig and had a sign that said "Coultergeist" which earned him the comment "Another attractive Democrat" from Coulter. During her speech she claimed that Democrats do not want democracy in Iraq because "they don’t think the little brown boys could handle democracy." Well obviously Bush does not think they can handle it either since our imperial storm troopers are still there in spite of Iraq supposedly having sovereignty and a democratically elected government. When one student called her on her desire for a full Republican dictatorship, Coulter decided to continue the personal attacks as opposed to real discourse and ripped on the guy for "talking gay" and responded "You don’t want the Republicans in power, does that mean you want a dictatorship, gay boy?" Shane Kennedy, the president of Indiana University College Republicans defended Coulter’s personal attack by stating "If you are going to talk like you are gay, then Ann Coulter is going to call you gay." How classy.
In her essay on Ann Coulter, Margaret Cho nails the woman’s style of "discourse" which is akin to "I know you are, but what am I?" I agree with that statement because Ann Coulter cannot attack ideas, she has to attack people. Her entire claim to fame really has been the fact she engages in such childish behavior. She rose to prominence during the Paula Jones scandal involving former President Clinton and was the one who leaked the physical description of Bill Clinton’s penis to the media. Coulter later turned on Jones because of Jones’ decision to pose in Penthouse to pay for her children’s college tuition.
Union Board, the group that arranged and paid for Coulter to come to Indiana University had no comment on the content of Coulter’s lecture.

I used to be a meth-freak (3 years clean) and this observation seems compelling in many ways.
first of all miss. c. looks amaciated like a tweaker. and secondly, the things she *says* are so over the top that it’s not inconceivable that she’s hopped up on something. She seems too erratic and twisted to be sane.
Could it be crystal? hmmmmm.
i used to be addicted to crystal. now i am addicted to crystal light and folgers crystals.
One thing i will say is that the meth-train is someting i wouldn’t wish on anyone. not even ann coulter.
