Man Faces Execution Over Conversion to Christianity Yet Christian Right Silent

One of the things I am sick of hearing people whine about is the "war on Christianity" in this country. Like Fox News’ manufactured "war on Christmas", this is another scam designed to make Christians look like victims at the hands of those they seek to oppress. Groups like the American Family Association, Focus on the Family, and others create a lot of noise about repression when they are told to shut the fuck up. They cry foul when they are not allowed to discriminate ostensibly on the basis of their religion. They cry foul when politicians consider the greater good for more people as opposed to just them. But in my opinion these people are just whiners and complainers who enjoy getting off sitting in dark rooms chewing their livers over perceived slights against their religion. But they have no idea what a real "war on Christianity" is.

If they want to see a real "war" on Christianity, take a look at the Middle-East. Remember that totalitarian, extremist Muslim Taliban we got rid of in Afghanistan? Well apparently we did not get a much better government in its place. It seems that a man in his forties who converted to Christianity sixteen years ago while working with refugees in Pakistan is on trial for it. Not only was Abdul Rahman’s conversion to Christianity a crime, but he now faces the death penalty for it as well. Tee conversion came to light during a custody fight for his children and relatives exposed him. When he was arrested, he was found with a bible. According to the judge presiding over the case, the man is being examined because they suspect insanity might have caused the Rahman to "reject islam". Rahman may escape the death penalty by renouncing Christianity.

Where are those screaming Christians now? Why are only humanitarian groups and the US State Department talking about this case? Google searching reveals none of the usual people to cry "war on Christianity" here in the US even know this guy exists let alone is possibly facing death.
