Corrections

Everyone makes mistakes now and then. In the interests of being fair, honest, and accountable for what I post, I will be using this space to post corrections that I have had to make after I publish entries. If you spot a factual error in one of my entries please post a comment bringing it to my attention and provide a link to correct information and I will edit the post.

Thursday, January 12th, 2006:

In the entry entitled "ACLU to Defend Homophobic Preacher", I mistakenly stated that the ACLU was representing Lonnie Latham when in fact they only released a statement in support of Latham. I corrected this information and changed the title to "ACLU Defends Homophobic Preacher".

Monday, January 30th, 2006:

In the entry entitled "Exxon Posts Record Oil Profit Yet Gas Still Expensive", I did not qualify the $10.7B figure as qarterly profits and neglected to state the full annual profits for Exxon and the relation to 2004 profits. This information has been updated.

Thursday, February 2nd, 2006:

In the entry entitled "Homophobic Hate Crimes Both Here and Abroad ", I had to rewrite the entry due to a laptop crash and during editing missed the beginning of the second paragraph specifying the speculation about the relationship between anti-gay rhetoric and the motives for the attack in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Sunday, February 5th, 2006:

In the entry entitled "Suspect in Massachusetts Gay Bar Attack Aprehended but Near Death", I misidentified the suspect as Jason D. Robida as opposed to Jacob D. Robida. I do not know how I got that one. The entry has since been corrected.
